5 Ways to Take Care of a Vespa Matic that You Need to Know

Having a motorized vehicle of any kind means that you have to be prepared for regular maintenance if you want to drive comfortably and safely. Starting from cars, motorbikes, automatic motorbikes, to Vespa Matic motorbikes, they must be maintained regularly so that they can remain comfortable to use and last a long time.

How to care for a Vespa Matic is certainly different from how to care for a motorcycle in general. What components must be maintained and checked regularly, so that the Vespa Matic remains durable, let's pay attention to how to take care of the following Vespa Matic:

1. Use the Right Fuel

Vespa Matic is designed to use high octane fuel, at least above RON 90. In Indonesia, you can use Pertamax which has RON 92, Pertamax Turbo RON 98, or Shell Power RON 95.

The advantage of using high octane fuel is that the combustion process will be maximized, so it will not leave dirt in the gasoline hose. This of course keeps the engine performance awake and of course the pull is still good.

2. Unplug the Vespa battery if it is not used for a long time

Unplug your Vespa battery if the Vespa will not be used within 1 month or more. By removing the battery on the Vespa, the electricity from the battery will be cut off, thus saving the battery.

3. Change the Oil Regularly

Change the oil regularly. Oil can function to minimize the level of wear and tear on the engine components so that it will affect driving comfort.

Oil changes can be done every 3-4 months. Oil is used every time the vehicle's engine is running, so that the lubricant continues to circulate even though the motor is not turned on.

4. Heat Vespa Every Day

Warm up the Vespa for at least 5 minutes every day, so that the engine is always well lubricated, so that the performance of the engine will still be maximized whenever needed. And with this heating will make the oil circulate so that the inside of the engine is protected from rust.

5. Tire Care

Perform maintenance on the tires in order to provide good performance and stability when the Vespa is used.

Always check the tire pressure using a tire pressure gauge, to ensure tire life. And use the center standard when the motorbike is parked at home to avoid excessive pressure on the tires in the long term.

In addition to taking care of your vespa matic, don't forget about motorbike insurance so that your vehicle is more protected!
