Snapchat introduced several new disability-friendly features aimed at its commitment to being a more fair, inclusive and anti-racism company.

The first feature introduced was Bitmoji. This is a Snap product where Snapchatters can personalize their own avatars or stickers to communicate on Snapchat or other apps.
Now, everyone can dress up their avatar with stickers featuring crutches and hearing aids in multiple colors or in a 3D (three-dimensional) pose using a wheelchair.
The second feature is AR Lens for learning Sign Language. Snap (Snapchat's parent company) launched ASL Alphabet Lens on April 5, 2022 in partnership with SignAll.
This is the first innovation in AR Lenses that will allow Snapchat's 319 million users to start learning American Sign Language (ASL).
Indonesia as one of the ASL adopters can start using this lens for self-study using sign language.
The last feature is Shows made for the Snapchat mobile app. One of the interesting content available to raise awareness about disability is “Make Way”.
Make Way has many episodes covering true stories from the point of view of real people about how they live with disabilities.
"These shows are great for showing a more diverse representation of the entertainment industry, as well as for Millennials and Gen Z in general to better understand some of the issues that may be rarely discussed in the context of disability," explains Snapchat.
