BP Tapera Collaborates with KORPRI to Encourage Civil Servants to Own Homes

In order to encourage Civil Servants (PNS) to be able to own their first homes, the People's Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) is collaborating with the National KORPRI Management Board to Create the First Home for Civil Servants.

The socialization collaboration aims to enable civil servants to take advantage of the facilities provided by the government in order to fulfill their first occupancy through BP Tapera. To be able to take advantage of these facilities, Tapera participants need to update their data.

The benefit of updating this data is that participants can find out the latest savings balance, determine the principles of fund management whether they are managed conventionally or sharia. In addition, participants by updating data can plan and choose the use of Tapera housing finance and later on participant savings will be returned along with fertilization results when participation ends.

For information, Tapera participants who currently have updated data as of May 31, 2022 are 1,076,907 (consisting of 23.59% for Ministries and 26.18% for Agencies and Institutions), of the total number of active participants of 3,874,477 participants.

The General Chairperson of the National KORPRI Management Board (DPKN), Zudan Arif Fakrulloh, said that there were still few civil servants who used funds from Tapera. For this reason, KORPRI provides support for the BP Tapera program in order to update participant data by civil servants and invites civil servants to immediately update data, so that they can take advantage of funding from Tapera. Such as Home Ownership Loans (KPR), Home Renovation Loans (KRR) and House Building Loans (KBR).

"I as the General Chairperson appeal to the Korpri Management Board at all levels to inform and invite all its members to immediately update the data on the SITARA portal which has been provided by BP Tapera and can be accessed at https://sitara.tapera.go.id/," said Zudan Arif Fakrulloh, in his statement, Wednesday (8/6/2022), who currently also serves as Director General of Dukcapil, Ministry of Home Affairs.

Commissioner of BP Tapera, Adi Setianto hopes that participants who attend the event can pass on the information to all civil servants who have not had the opportunity to attend.

In addition, Adi Setianto also expects data support from the National KORPRI Management Board because it better understands the conditions and needs of its members. "We need data on mapping the housing needs of all civil servants in the country, especially for all KORPRI members at the Ministry/Agency level, Provincial Government, Regency and City throughout Indonesia," said Adi Setianto.

Later, the data obtained from KORPRI can become one of the inputs for BP Tapera to reconcile housing supply and demand, so that housing finance assistance is channeled on target;

Until the end of May 2022, BP Tapera was recorded as having realized 846 housing financing contracts, or equivalent to Rp 126.65 billion. In 2022, BP Tapera provides a budget of Rp. 2.95 trillion to be distributed to civil servants who do not have their first house or for renovation and building needs.
